Community Outreach

Our mission is to bring FIRST ideals to other parts of our community and to allow other students to explore STEM and build life skills

Team Breakdown

Division

The team has 4 subgroups, but 2 branches. Those branches are Engineering and BAM. Engineering works on the robot, BAM coordinates logistics and budgeting. The head of Engineering is the Engineering Project Manager, or EPM, and BAM's head is the Administrative Project Manager (APM).

Leadership

The team is student-led (click here to see current student positions). Leaders are typically upperclassmen who have proven themselves to be skilled and responsible. Besides the EPM and APM, each subgroup has its own individual leader.

BAM

Short for Business, Administration, and Marketing, BAM manages outreach and fundraising, budgeting, logistics for competitions, and merchandise.

Mechanical

Mechanical is in charge of designing, prototyping, testing, and building the body of the robot.

Programming

Programming creates the code that makes the robot move, turn, and perform any additional season-specific functions.

Electrical

Electrical wires the robot, allowing Programming's code to move Mechanical's frame.
