The team has 4 subgroups. Mechanical, Electrical, and Programming make up Engineering, who work on the robot. The fourth subgroup is BAM, which coordinates logistics and budgeting. The head of Engineering is the Engineering Project Manager, or EPM, and BAM's head is the Administrative Project Manager (APM).
The team is student-led (see Leadership.) Leaders are typically upperclassmen who have proven themselves to be skilled and responsible. Besides the EPM and APM, each subgroup has its own individual leader.
Short for Business, Administration, and Marketing, BAM manages outreach and fundraising, budgeting, logistics for competitions, and merchandise.
Mechanical is in charge of designing, prototyping, testing, and building the body of the robot.
Programming creates the code that makes the robot move, turn, and perform any additional season-specific functions.
Electrical wires the robot, allowing Programming's code to move Mechanical's frame.
